Disclaimer: poor quality photos taken in a hurry, on automatic with the point-and-shoot, in the bathroom after a last-minute “oh, I should take before and afters! Honey, hold him for a sec while I grab the camera!!” moment.
My baby is growing up. I receive daily reminders of this and there is a twinge of mourning babyhood mixed in with all of my excitement for him to be EXPLORING, DISCOVERING and LEARNING so dang much! I gave him a buzz at about 4 weeks, when that “Friar John” was making me cringe. For the last 9 months I’ve just watched, fascinated as his locks have grown, stayed true to their auburn beginnings and begun to spiral out of control behind his ears and at his neck. All of this has been so much fun that I almost missed that those beautiful locks were getting unruly and really, not quite as cute. So, I took the scissors to him, snipped off about half of his hair (which happened to include those curls…sniff, sniff) and out emerged this incredible hunk of a LITTLE BOY!!
Hubba Hubba. Watch out all you 6-12 month ladies. Milo is in the house!

He looks so handsome and grown up!!!
I have been deciding whether or not to cute Blake's, but I kept telling myself I want to keep this fuzzy, baby mullet for a while longer. Milo looks so dang cute…and so dang old in that picture!
gotta love the center spike too:) the curls will come back!
Good job on the cut…I can never keep Eamon still now. It gets trickier as they get more interested in the cutting utensils.
Man those EYES! Awesome. What a stud.
He is oh so handsome! I missed being able to look at the blog while we were away. Thank you for keeping it up and sharing these wonderful photos!
