Milo is very particular when it comes to eating. Not about what goes in, rather who puts it there. For about two months he has been totally self-fed. Which means I give him about two times the food he needs knowing that half of it will end up on the floor, his hands, face, and my least favorite: his clothes!
After a couple weeks of placing a dish towel over his shorts as well as a traditional bib for covering his shirt I took a break from RTW to whip together some bibs. Long bibs. Ridiculously long bibs. I even made a small cutout on one for the piece of the high-chair that passes through his legs.
Do they keep his clothes spotless? No. Is he a lot more clean than before? Yes. Is he ridiculously cute in his ridiculously long bibs? Absolutely, which eases the pain of yet another wardrobe change substantially;)
Would you like a pattern and a tutorial? (for both a regular size and a RL bib?)

Of COURSE I want a pattern. Hello, why don't they sell ridiculously long bibs?
I just want to know where you got that crazy cute car fabric!
Yes, please! Liam and Eamon are pretty good about staying mess-free, but Seth gets his applesauce in his lap every time…
Hi I found your blog through Design Mom. Love your "Wardrobe Repurpose" .. amazing and totally inspiring.
A pattern for this would be awesome as I have the same Ikea high chair and because the tray can't be moved, I have a bib on my daughter AND a tea towel over her lap to catch the drops.
Thanks!
I'd buy the RLBs from you right now? Do you sell them, I might want even longer ones;) My son is a Mac and cheese guy and at restaurants it's so gross. Do you sell them or just the pattern? I also have a great contact for you if you ever wanted to sell this idea. No benefit to me just a favor from one mom inventor to another;)
Hi there! I take orders for everything I make, and would be happy to whip some RLBs up for your little mac and cheese man! Just email me at livefreemiranda@gmail.com and we can discuss details!
