Asking For It

I understand the risk of letting Milo run naked around the house. His little bum likes the open air time, especially when I spot the beginning of some redness creeping in. I can handle cleaning up a little #1 (and even an accidental #2) from the floor every once in a while. BUT A FULL PUDDLE INSIDE MY SHEEPSKIN SLIPPER? I was asking for it!
Any suggestions on how to clean this up??

Haha! I mean, doh! We let Mase run around naked all the time… only in the back yard though. :)

Hmm…at least urine is sterile, right?

Ha ha, sorry. Toddler wee is mainly water anyways, pretty low on the ick scale if you ask me.

Try a dry cleaner that does leather. It shouldn't cost more than $5-$10 depending on where you live. (Big cities dry clean soooo much cheaper!)

For no money at home- I would wash out the one slipper then soak both slippers completely in water mixed with fabric softener. That should keep them soft when it dries out again. Fill the slippers with damp washcloths and set in a warm sunny place until the outsides are dry-ish, then remove the washcloths and let the insides dry in a less sunny place. This is supposed to keep the outsides from warping all weird.

You probably didn't really need all that. Good luck anyways!
