The Repurpose Bug: it’s contagious!

I love hearing that Project Repurpose is causing some of you to look at your closet in a whole new light. I’ve had several people tell me that they had caught the repurpose bug and were getting excited about their projects, Horray!
*My little sister has completed two great repurposes, you can check them out here and here.
*A good friend, Brooke, began a fun repurpose and asked me to help her finish it up. It began as a large men’s dress shirt like this one here (minus the creepy mannequin!) and turned into a darling, feminine ruffled tunic to throw on over some summer leggings.
We used an old tee to add some length to the bottom, and as a base to attach the ruffles. The sleeves are simply stitched with elastic to give them a really fun, but not too much poof!
Adding a tie at the waist gave it shape and made it versatile. All in all a really great repurpose!
If you’re working on a repurpose, let me know! We’d all love to ooh and ahh with you!
And… remember how fun ReMODELING was? Well, Fashion Shoot #2 is in the editing phase. Click back in the next couple days to see how they turned out!!
