A couple days ago I NEEDED a cranberry scone from Normandie. So, I packed up the little one and we headed on our way. I love love the cafe, and I worked there for a couple years in high school, so it is fun to see the owners and catch up a little when I’m in town.
It was a really fun date morning with Milo. We shared a hot chocolate piled high with fresh cream and cocoa powder. I ordered him a butter croissant, and thought it would be a good chance to teach him how to put some jam on each little bite. He was actually pretty nimble with the knife and jam…just decided to forego the pastry altogether.
Sweet tooth like his mama, I guess. And sweet sweet as can be.

How patient of him. How much longer are you here? I'd love to have you and Milo over for a play date.
I think you might hit all of my favorite SLC places. J's dad always bought me one of the chocolate chocolate cakes for my birthday. Yum. Probably right about the time you were working there
