Happy Chips

For Sarah’s wedding, there was a need for individual bags of chips to accompany the delicious sandwiches. After mulling over a few ideas, this easy and darling one made the final cut.
All you need is some very Happy Tape
Some bags of delicious chippers
A table surrounded by loving helpers
Simply fill, fold, and tape!
One of those small details that makes everyone quite happy:)

What a cute idea and I LOVE your blog! Your upcycling, recipes, and projects have given me great inspiration! I really admire your attention to detail when it is important and seeming willingness to go with the flow when the little guy's schedule/ interests warrant it. Unfortunately for you, reading your blog every weekday I have this false sense of familiarity with you and feel I can poke a little bit of fun with this teensy weensy inquiry… does that sign pointing the way to the kettle cooked chips say "baked chips"?

Yep! You noticed that, too! My cute mother in law thought she had bought BAKED kettle chips and labeled them as such. the next day as we sat around chatting and eating leftover happy chips with turkey burgers it came up and aye had to run and get a bag from the trash to be proven wrong! Good eye!

Miranda- How many bags of chips did you use, and for how many people? I totally want to do this for my brother's grooms dinner next month!

@krafty kimHi Kim! We figured about one ounce of chips per happy bag-so bought as many ounces of potato chips as people we expected. I'm not sure exactly how many bags we went through, but I know we tried to get 12 happy bags per 12 ounce bag of Lays. Good luck!

Miranda: I just wanted to follow up with you. My brother got married last weekend, and I created 90 bags of chips for his groom's dinner. Holy moly, they went over well! Everyone loved them (I used some bags from Michaels, and printed some Avery return address labels with the theme we were going with to seal them). I wish I had a picture to send you, but alas, I was too busy with everything to even take a dang picture! :) But thanks again for the great idea, it turned out great! And I'll send you a picture if anyone took a picture of one!
